On August 2, 2018, The Detroit Public Schools Foundation awarded 44-Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) students a Detroit College Promise (DCP) scholarship. The scholars were from Benjamin Carson, Cass Technical, Detroit School of Arts, Martin Luther King, Jr., Osborn, Pershing, Renaissance and Western International high schools.
