As happens every cycle, the DPS Foundation received far more requests for support than the funds available. We regret our inability to fund many worthwhile programs and projects, however we believe that the grants that we are able to make, will have a positive impact on the students, and the education that is delivered in the Detroit Public Schools.
- DPS Police Department – field trips to DPS Police Headquarters and educational program
- Mackenzie Elementary/Middle School – Portable Smartboards and Document Cameras
- Mosaic Youth Theater – ticket subsidies for student attendance at Mosaic performances
- Rackham Symphony Choir – bus transportation for student attendance at Education Day for Too Hot to Handel
- Detroit Institute of Arts – support for 30 Americans exhibition
