Thanks to our board members, sponsors, volunteers and golfers for making our inaugural golf outing a success. We enjoyed a pleasant hot but not humid day as 108 golfers took the course at Field Stone Golf Course in Auburn Hills. Among the golfers were four DPSCD students. Renaissance High School golfer, Brian Cross II, took home the prize for the longest men’s drive.

Other awards went to Lena Willis, who won a Shinola Watch for the closest to the pin female and Tony Simpson took home a Detroit Bike for winning the closest to the pin event among the men. Also, Jennifer Groce won the prize (golf swag bag) for longest drive, female.
