Dr. Iris Taylor

Board Chair

Dr. Iris Taylor brings decades of executive leadership, civic engagement, and advocacy for equity in education and healthcare. A longtime champion for Detroit, she has served as DPSCD’s elected board president and continues to support student achievement through her leadership on the Foundation’s board. As Chair, she provides strategic counsel and stewardship to ensure the Foundation delivers on its mission with integrity, transparency, and excellence.

Kerrie Mitchell Campbell-Mabins

President & CEO

Kerrie Mitchell leads the DPSCD Foundation with a bold vision and deep-rooted passion for equitable education. Under her leadership, the Foundation has secured record-setting investments, expanded programs that transform lives, and emerged as a leading force in Detroit’s education and nonprofit ecosystem. Her strategic thinking, authenticity, and drive to serve make her a trusted partner to the District and a champion for the students and families of Detroit.
