Onward to Fall

As September comes to a close, and fall is upon us, we look back on a very busy month.  September marked Labor Day celebrations, the opening of school, Grandparents Day, Patriot’s Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, the beginning of Fall, and Constitution Day.  Constitution Day is a day that we celebrate and honor the tenets of our constitution. It is a time when we reaffirm our belief in freedom, our commitment to unity, our collective values, and our understanding of the responsibility which we all have to keep our nation strong. We know that we can only be strong when we have an educated citizenry.  So, Constitution Day is also a day calling on us to engage in activities that are ensuring that our schools are effective in preparing our young people as contributing members of society. Our nation depends upon us doing so. Here at the DPS Foundation we believe that we can do no less. Do you agree?
