Congratulations to Kaity Nicastri, Community School Site Coordinator for Southwest Solutions at Bennett Elementary, for winning the drawing for school supplies. These materials will support the 50 girls, kindergarten through 5th grade, in Girl Scout troop #80205. This program touches on two of the priority areas for funding by the DPS Foundation. Early Childhood education across the disciplines, and STEM programs and projects are embedded in Girl Scouts programming as they are in the work of the Foundation. Additionally, this after school activity brings together multiple partners in support of a holistic education for students in the Hispanic Community.
