Life after high school can be overwhelming for graduating seniors, especially managing their finances. Thanks to generous support from Flagstar Bank, 127 of the district’s brightest students will be more prepared with the knowledge they gained through their participation in a financial literacy workshop at the Blossom Health Inn Conference Center in St. Clair Shores, MI. This workshop included tips for making wise decisions concerning finances, best practices in creating a budget, credit card usage and preventing identity thief.
Following the workshop the students were treated to a delicious lunch. The afternoon concluded with a raffle for $25 gift cards from Target. Each participant also received a memento from Flagstar Bank.
