Congratulations to Ivana Butler and Savannah Fisher. Both of these young ladies are students at the Detroit School of Arts. They have each been recently notified that they have been selected, through a very competitive process, as Rackham Symphony Choir High School Vocal Interns. This internship will provide for weekly voice study and instruction with a professional instructor, the opportunity to perform with the Rackham Choir and be a soloist on a program with the next year. This opportunity will present options and resources that will help the students to grow as vocal artists.
Ivana and Savannah are examples of the excellent students in DPS. We are proud of them and wish them well though the year of their internship.
