Detroit Free Press: Detroit schools get $5M from Ford, Bloomberg for auto tech program

Ford Motor Company and Bloomberg Philanthropies have committed $5 million to expand automotive technician training at Breithaupt Career and Technical Center and Western International High School. The investment will modernize classrooms, expand work-based learning, and help DPSCD students earn industry credentials before graduation — putting them on a direct path from high school to in-demand careers.
