From local college tours to international exchanges, we support travel opportunities that take learning outside the classroom and into the world. These experiences provide Detroit students with real-world context, deeper cultural understanding, and the confidence to step boldly into their futures.

Why Student Travel Matters

Current Travel Initiatives

Cody High School | Paris, France  Spring 2026

Students at Cody High School are preparing for a cultural and educational trip to Paris in Spring 2026. As part of their French history curriculum, this immersive experience will allow them to explore world-renowned sites, deepen their language skills, and gain a broader understanding of global history. The Foundation is helping raise funds to support travel, lodging, meals, chaperones, and educational experiences for the students selected to attend.

Spain Elementary-Middle School Broadway Immersion in New York

Spain elementary and middle school theatre students experienced the magic of Broadway firsthand during an unforgettable trip to New York City. This immersive journey connected their classroom learning with the world’s most iconic theatrical community, giving students the opportunity to see professional productions and explore the vibrant arts scene that defines the city.

Cultural Heritage Tour of Ghana

Students embarked on a transformative journey to Ghana, where they explored rich historical and cultural sites that deepened their understanding of African heritage. This meaningful travel experience fostered global citizenship and cultural awareness, allowing students to connect with history and traditions in an authentic, impactful way.

College and University Campus Tours

Through comprehensive campus visits, our students have explored diverse postsecondary educational opportunities across multiple colleges and universities. These guided tours provide invaluable insight into student life, academic programs, and campus culture, helping students envision their futures and make informed decisions about their educational paths beyond graduation.
