October 16, 2014 was a banner day for the support of students within the Detroit Public Schools. On that day the DPS Foundation received three generous donations that will truly make a difference. AAA-Michigan made a three year commitment totaling $211,000 to support Safe Routes to Schools. Kenya Moore fulfilled her pledge of $20,000 in support of arts programming at her alma mater, Cass Tech. The Cynthia Estrada Charity Fund provided $20,000 for the Academy of the Americas. These donors See It and Believe It.
