Detroit Public Schools Foundation Gets Charge From GM

Detroit, MI – March 14, 2011 – Thanks to a public auction by General Motors and Chevrolet, the first Chevy Volt available to the public was donated to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation (DPSF). Consequently, DPSF has been able to fund a number of programs that focus on science, technology engineering and mathematics (STEM) enrichment in the Detroit Public Schools (DPS). The winning bid was $225,000.
